After making the decision that filing for Bankruptcy Protection is an action you will take, you may have a question of how you what to proceed. Do you want to retain an attorney, file on your own or hire a "service" to prepare your paperwork for you? I can only caution that you are dealing with the most important of your own financial affairs and your most important assets. With some "services" charging Hundreds of dollars for the forms and typing, you may save a couple of hundred dollars. But if you have any questions you will not be able to receive any legal advise. And if you reaffirm any debt, you will have two (2) appearances to make rather than just one. This is a significant choice to make. This is a complex legal process. If you have questions or complications and problems arise, who will be there to assist you. I believe my fees are reasonable for the services that I provide. I also believe that you get what you pay for.
